Refund Policy

We want you to love your Frø plugins. If something isn't right, we'd rather make it right than keep your money.

EU 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have a statutory right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving access to the Software, unless you have explicitly waived this right.

When you waive it

When you complete checkout and download the Software, you'll be asked to explicitly consent to immediate access. Once you have consented and the license file is delivered to your inbox, the 14-day right of withdrawal no longer applies — this is a standard carve-out for digital goods under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m).

If you'd rather keep your withdrawal right, decline that consent at checkout — but you won't be able to download or activate the plugin until 14 days have passed.

Beyond the legal minimum: 14-day no-questions refunds

We also offer a 14-day refund window to anyone, anywhere, for any reason, even if you have already activated the Software. If within 14 days of purchase the plugin isn't working for you — your DAW doesn't load it, the sound isn't what you wanted, you bought the wrong plugin — email us at [email protected] with your order ID and we'll process the refund through Lemon Squeezy. No questions, no forms.

We ask that you uninstall the Software and destroy your license file afterwards.

Beyond 14 days

After 14 days we don't offer routine refunds, but we'll always work with you on:

• Bugs that prevent use: if the plugin doesn't work properly on your system and we can't fix it within a reasonable time, we'll refund you.
• Wrong purchase: if you accidentally bought a duplicate or a plugin you already own, contact us.
• Goodwill: edge cases happen. Reach out — we'd rather have a happy ex-customer than a bitter one.

How refunds work

• Refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy (our merchant of record) and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days.
• You'll get an automatic email when the refund is issued.
• After refund, your license file is invalidated. The plugin will revert to demo mode (5-second mute every 65 seconds) at next launch.
